BARK IN THE PARK/TEAM GHOST RIDERS/TUESDAY KIDS DAY: TUESDAY, JUNE 1 @ 6 P.M. Dogs are most certainly allowed on this night, as Rusty and Rascal move into hiding when U. S. Steel Yard is taken over by your pooches. Call the RailCats at 219.882.2255 to find out how to bring your best friend to The Steel Yard! Stay tuned after the game for a special one-of-a-kind performance from Team Ghost Riders. It's monkeys riding dogs, herding sheep. You most definitely have to see it to believe it, so don't miss the world famous Ghost Riders making their U. S. Steel Yard debut. And DON'T FORGET, every Tuesday is Kids Day at U. S. Steel Yard. With a special 6 p.m. start time and FREE hot dog vouchers for the first 1,000 kids (12 and under) who enter the gates, courtesy Red Hot Chicago, Tuesday Kids Days are sure to be a great time for the whole family. June 1 is also Picture Pack Giveaway (1,000 fans) sponsored by Great Lakes Orthopedics. Before the game those players featured in the picture packs will be on the concourse near the Main Gate signing autographs for the fans! On June 1 it will be pitchers Tom Thornton and Aaron Cook, infielders Jeff Beachum and Louis Ott, and Hitting Coach Mick Curran.
WET YOUR WHISTLE WEDNESDAY : WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2 @ 7 P.M. - Everyone's favorite promotion is back for 2010 on Wednesdays. Take the mid-week break you know you deserve and kick back with $2 MGD and Miller Lite drafts (fans 21 and over only) at every Wednesday night game in 2010, presented by MillerCoors and X-Rock 103.9.
CUBS JERSEY AUCTION/FIREWORKS FRIDAY: FRIDAY, JUNE 4 @ 7 P.M. - The RailCats will wear jerseys replicating those of a certain team on the North Side of Chicago, then auction those jerseys off after the game! Don't miss a chance to get your hands on this one-of-a-kind uniform, courtesy U. S. Steel. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Joe Gates Memorial Scholarship Fund. As always, every Friday is Fireworks Friday presented by First Midwest Bank and the Post-Tribune.
