
RailCats Activate Brockett

GARY, IN - The Gary SouthShore RailCats have activated INF Ryan Brockett from the Disabled List and placed INF Caleb Palensky on irrevocable waivers. RHP Coleman Stephens has also been activated, while RHP Travis McGee has been added to the Disabled List.
Ryan Brockett, a rookie from Guilford, CT, was placed on the Disabled List on June 17th. Before being place on the DL, Brockett appeared in four games for the RailCats. In 10 at bats Brockett scored one run and one base on balls. In 2013 he appeared in six American Association playoff games for the RailCats while batting .250.
Coleman Stephens was placed on the Disabled List retroactive to June 16th. Stephens appeared in seven games this season, working 17.1 innings. He has a record of 1-1 with an ERA of 5.19.
Caleb Palensky joined the RailCats on June 20th. The INF out of Nebraska-Omaha appeared in 4 games and was 0 for 12 for the RailCats.
Travis McGee has appeared in three games this season, pitching seven innings. He has an ERA of 2.57 and a record of 1-1.
