
RAIL YARD DAWGS ROSTER UPDATE: Colin Murray Called up to ECHL

Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs News Release
ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Wednesday that forward Colin Murray has been called up to the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers. Additionally, the Dawgs have signed forward Matt Beer to a contract.
Murray has appeared in 14 games with the Rail Yard Dawgs this season and has netted five goals along with two assists. The 28-year old native of Oshawa, Ontario is in his fourth professional season out of Castleton State College. He has played 119 career ECHL games, including 16 last season between the Elmira Jackals and Greenville Swamp Rabbits. This will be Murray's first appearance in the ECHL in the 2017-18 season.
Beer is in his third full season out of Morrisville State College. The 27-year old native of Corunna, Ontatio has played a combined 15 games this year in the FHL with the Port Huron Prowlers and Carolina Thunderbirds. He has recorded two goals and eight assists thus far this season.
Roanoke returns to action on Friday night in Evansville against the Thunderbolts. Puck drop at the Ford Center is scheduled for 7:15 PM CST
