
Macon's John Siemer named Warrior Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced John Siemer of the Macon Mayhem is the Warrior Player of the Week for December 11-17.
Siemer scored three goals, added three assists and was +4 as the Mayhem swept a pair of games from Fayetteville.
On Friday, the Baldwin Park, CA native opened the scoring just 14 seconds into the game, the first of his two goals on the night, as the Mayhem posted a 10-2 win over the Marksmen. The following night, Siemer set up two goals before closing out Saturday's 9-0 win by scoring shorthanded in the third period.
Now in his second season with the Mayhem, Siemer spent three years at Northern Michigan University before turning pro. In 85 career games with the Wildcats, Siemer scored 16 goals and added 43 assists.
