Raiders Select Right Winger Fredrik Cedergren of Sweden in 2009 CHL Import Draft

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders have selected Fredrik Cedergren with the 26th selection in the 2009 CHL Import Draft.

The native of Roserberg Sweden was born on March 9th, 1990 and is 6'0", 187 pounds, plays forward and shoots right. Cedergren was a member of the HV 71 team in the J20 Super Elite League in Sweden this past year. During his time with HV 71 he registered 16 goals and nine assists for 25 points in 35 games played. He also was a plus 13 with 74 penalty minutes. Cedergren also recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in seven playoff games with HV 71.

"We are extremely pleased to draft Fredrik, and are looking forward to him joining the Raiders Organization", said Raiders Head Coach and General Manager Bruno Campese. "We will look for him to be an integral part of our team."
