Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - Wisconsin Rapids has a new nemesis and they are known as the Kenosha Kingfish. For the second straight night, the Rafters fell to the Kingfish by one run, 3-2. A solo home run by the Kenosha in the top of the eighth broke a 2-2 tie and gave Kingfish a 3-2 lead. The Rafters are now 0-2 to start the second half of the season and 15-19 overall, while Kenosha is 2-0 in the latter half of the season and 25-13 overall.
The Rafters opened the game with a run in the bottom of the first, scoring on the Kingfish for the first time in 12 innings dating back three games. Brock Carpenter (Seattle) singled to right field, scoring Zack Domingues (Long Beach State) to open the scoring.

Wisconsin Rapids then tied the game on a bases loaded walk by Domingues in the bottom of the seventh, only to have Kenosha retake the lead in the top of the eighth on a solo home run.
