Carolina Mudcats News Release
Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced a set of transactions affecting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats effective prior to Sunday's home game with the Chattanooga Lookouts.
IF Jonny Raburn and RHP Christopher Young have been promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque and will be in uniform for today's game against New Orleans. Raburn was hitting .173 through 15 games playing primarily at shortstop for the Mudcats. Young was 0-1 with a 5.87 ERA over eight appearances primarily in middle relief for the Mudcats.
RHP Scott Tyler has been optioned back to Carolina after spending two days in the major leagues. Tyler did not appear in a game for Florida.
A revised roster is attached. Carolina is currently one player under the 24-man Southern League limit.
