
Raburn joins Biscuits

Montgomery Biscuits News Release
MONTGOMERY -- The Montgomery Biscuits announced today that infielder/outfielder John Raburn has been received from Durham (AAA - International League). This will be Raburn's second year in a Biscuits uniform; he spent the entire 2005 season in Montgomery, batting .284 and compiling a team-record 27 stolen bases. The 27-year-old native of Florida had batted .194 (14 for 72) in 24 games with the Bulls.
In a corresponding move, catcher Joshua Johnson was assigned to the Hudson Valley Renegades (Short-Season A - New York-Penn League). In six games with the Biscuits, Johnson collected three hits in 14 at-bats for a .214 average.
