R-Phils, B-Mets Suspended

Reading Fightin Phils News Release


Tuesday's Reading Phillies vs. Binghamton Mets game has been suspended due to rain in the top of the 2nd inning with the Mets in front 2-0. It will be resumed tomorrow at 6:05 PM (5:30 gates) and be played to nine innings. Tomorrow's regularly scheduled game will follow the conclusion of tonight's game but will be seven innings.

When the game resumes, Binghamton is up with the pitcher's spot up and a 0-1 count.

Landon Jacobsen, tonight's starter for Reading, will resume tomorrow's game. LHP Matt Maloney, Wednesday's scheduled starter will pitch the second game.

Binghamton's pitchers will be determined on Wednesday.

Tuesday's attendance (7,468) and Wednesday's attendance will both count.
