Today, the SeaWolves begin a seven-day, nine-game homestand with the first of two doubleheaders against the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates)...Erie and Altoona will play five-games in a span of 43 hours following the first pitch of tonight's game. Tonight's doubleheader is a make-up game from the first series of the season that was snowed out at Jerry Uht Park. Erie and Altoona have four scheduled doubleheaders the remainder of the season...Erie is coming off of back-to-back losses to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the team finished the road trip with a 3-3 record. It was the first road trip of the season where the âWolves finished at the .500 mark...Zach Minor has joined the SeaWolves on Major League rehab from Detroit. Minor is schedule to pitch one inning tonight and will stay with the team and make another appearance over the next few days...Tigers starting pitcher Nate Robertson is also schedule to rehab with the SeaWolves. Robertson will start on Thursday against the Curve...Rightie Andrew Kown makes the start for the âWovles in game one. Kown is coming off of his best outing of the season against Portland. He shut down the Sea Dogs for five innings allowing just four hits. He tied a season-high with six strikeouts and he picked up his first win as a starting pitcher.
