Before the Eastern League All-Star game July 11th, Stanton Equipment will sponsor the Homerun Derby. Fans will have a chance to be on the field and paired with one of the 10 Homerun Derby contestants, for a chance to win the John Deere riding mower on display at Dodd Stadium!
Enter at one of the 3 locations for Stanton Equipment...1376 Norwich Rd. Plainfield, 105 S. Main St. East Windsor, or 2A Gandolfo Dr. in Canaan.
The winning entries will be drawn Friday July 6th, and winners will be notified.
Kids aged 5 to 12 have the chance to learn baseball from the pros with the Connecticut Defenders. Field Manager, Dave Machemer and his players will teach the young "Defenders in Training" the fundamentals of baseball in 3-day clinics and specific skills in 2-day clinics.
Space is still available for all session.
