
R Braves Could Reach Major Milestone This Weekend

The Richmond Braves expect to welcome their 10 millionth fan during their upcoming homestand. The Braves need 13,889 more fans to reach 10 million at The Diamond since the park opened in 1985.
The 10 millionth fan will receive two vouchers from Delta Airlines for a round trip anywhere in the U.S., two season tickets for 2008, a voucher for $100 for the Braves souvenir shop, a Braves jersey, a tailgate party courtesy of Outback for 20 people, and a visit from the Braves grounds crew to aerate and seed the 10 millionth fan's yard.
LUCKIEST DAY OF THE YEAR?
Test your luck as we celebrate the number 7 on 7/7/07 starting at 7:07pm. The first 2500 fans will receive a Braves bracelet and 7 will get a "Lucky 7" bracelet and automatically become a finalist in our Vegas vacation giveaway. One of those lucky 7 fans will win a 3 day 3 night stay at a First Class Hotel on the Vegas strip for two. The Braves are partnering with Donate Life to promote organ and tissue donation and recognize those who have sacrificed to save lives. * RHP Brad Nelson has been assigned to Double-A Mississippi. Nelson did not allow a run in 5.2 innings over 2 appearances.
*LHP Jo-Jo Reyes has been promoted from Mississippi to Richmond and is scheduled to start Friday.
