
Queen Earns Two-Way Deal with Houston Rockets

EDINBURG, Texas (December 18, 2021) - The Houston Rockets have signed guard Trevelin Queen to a two-way deal. Queen's GATORADE Call-Up is the first of the season for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and the 48th in franchise history.
Queen has started in nine of the 10 games for the Vipers in the 2021-22 campaign. He has averaged 22.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.9 steals per 32.6 minutes played. Queen has scored 20-plus points eight times thus far. The guard ranks 2nd in the NBA G League with 2.9 steals.
The Vipers will play Oklahoma City on Sunday, December 19 in the quarterfinal of the Showcase Cup Tournament at the 2021 AT&T NBA G League Winter Showcase. Tip-off is at 5 p.m. CST and the game will air live on ESPN2.
