Iowa Wolves Scheduled to Play Two Games at the 2021 AT&T NBA G League Winter Showcase

LAS VEGAS - The Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, will play two games at the 2021 AT&T NBA G League Winter Showcase inside the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, the NBA G League announced today.

Iowa starts the Winter Showcase on Monday, Dec. 20 against the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards affiliate, at 4 p.m. CT on NBAGLeague.com. The Wolves close their trip to Las Vegas on Wednesday, Dec. 22 against the Greensboro Swarm, the Charlotte Hornets affiliate, at 2 p.m. CT on NBA TV.

The 17th annual in-season scouting event gives players on NBA G League rosters a chance perform in front of scouts from across the league just before 10-day contracts can be signed.

Fans can follow all the action in Las Vegas, including the Showcase Cup Tournament, on ESPN's family of networks, NBA TV and NBAGLeague.com from Dec. 19-22.

Following the Winter Showcase, team records will reset, and the 2021-22 NBA G League regular season will begin on Monday, Dec. 27. Iowa will host the Stockton Kings, the Sacramento Kings affiliate, on Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. CT at Wells Fargo Arena to kick off its 36-game regular season schedule.
