
Pushkarev Recalled By Kings

MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled right wing Konstantin Pushkarev from the Monarchs under emergency conditions, Kings President of Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced on Sunday.
Pushkarev, 21, has 32 points (18-14=32) - including a team-leading 18 goals - and 95 penalty minutes in 70 games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-foot, 180-pound native of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan - who will wear jersey No. 9 - has not appeared in an NHL game. The Kings selected Pushkarev in the second-round (44th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Atlantic Division leading Portland Pirates come to Manchester on Wednesday, March 29 to face the Monarchs at 7:05 p.m.
