Bears fall to Penguins

Regulation goals by Kris Beech and Tomas Fleischmann were not enough to hold off the Penguins in regulation. The Pens equaled the BEARS goal total with goals by Krystofer Kolanos and Daniel Carcillo, both notching second period goals. The BEARS out shot the Penguins 44 to 22 in a high intensity contest. Frederic Cassivi got the win and his counterpart Dany Sabourin was given the loss.

The BEARS end the week with a total of 95 points and the Penguins head home with a total of 100.

The BEARS return to the ice on Wednesday in Bridgeport, and return home to face the Lowell Lock Monsters Friday, and the Philadelphia Phantoms on Saturday at GIANT Center. Tickets are available for Friday and Saturday's games by calling the box office at (717) 508-BEAR.
