Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest Returns to the Cove

SOUTH BEND, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks invite you to come out early when the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest comes to Coveleski Stadium on Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
This FREE baseball themed Midway will be located outside the stadium from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attractions include batting and pitching cages, bungee runs, super slide, the X-Box 360 Best Buy Home Run Derby Video Game Trailer with Rock Band Stage and a spectacular Minor League Baseball Museum. Fans will also have the opportunity to be on a free souvenir Days Inn Baseball Card or Sports Illustrated Kids Magazine cover.
In conjunction with the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest, "Pitch In For Baseball" will collect new and used baseball equipment. Fans donating baseball equipment will receive a coupon for X-Box 360 Software at Best Buy and receive a coupon good for a $2 discount on a reserved seat ticket for Wednesday's Silver Hawks game.
The Silver Hawks take on the Lansing Lugnuts at 7:00 p.m. with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the Silver Hawks box office, online at www.silverhawks.com or over the phone at 574-235-9988.
