
Preview: NYCFC Academy Participating in MLS Next Cup Playoffs

The MLS NEXT Playoffs are back at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco for the second year in a row, beginning this Saturday, June 25. New York City Football Club's Academy has two teams competing in the Playoffs.
The U-15 and U-17 teams are traveling to Texas, where select Playoff matches will be streamed on MLS's Twitch channel.
Our U-15's begin participation on Saturday morning at the Toyota Soccer Center where kickoff is scheduled for 10:00AM EST. They will face off against San Jose Earthquakes aiming for a spot in the next round where the winner of Red Bulls vs. Orlando City SC will be waiting. The full U15 bracket can be found here.
Their U17 counterparts will pick things up on Sunday at the same time, with FC Dallas the opposition standing between them and advancing to the next stage of the playoffs where they will meet the winner of Portland Timbers vs. Austin FC. You can see the full U17 bracket.
