The Blades continue a 5-game home stand with their only game of the season against Reece Harsch's former team, the Seattle Thunderbirds. Saskatoon enters with a 4-1 record in their last 5 games and will try to extend their perfect 3-0 record at home in 2019. Seattle will be making their 3rd stop on a 6-game road trip through the East Division. The T-Birds have just one win in their last 8 games, and have gone 1-1 on their road trip so far.

Max Gerlach (24), Reece Harsch (3), Josh Paterson (13), Zach Huber (8), and Emil Malysjev (2) scored for the Blades in a 5-2 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings at SaskTel Centre on Sunday. Nolan Maier made 27 saves for the Blades earning his 21st win of the season. Seattle is coming off a 6-3 win on Sunday over the Regina Pats. Noah Philp had 2G-2A in the win and rookie netminder Roddy Ross picked up the first win of his career in goal for Seattle.
