Raiders Hosting Second Annual Sock Hop
January 8, 2019 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Prince Albert Raiders News Release
Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders are teaming up with Parkland Ambulance again for the Second Annual Sock Hop.
Fans are asked to bring new pairs of socks to Saturday night's game against the Calgary Hitmen in support of Parkland Ambulance, who will give them to people in need of warm clothes.
Those who bring a new pair of socks to Saturday's game will be entered into a draw to win a new TV. When they enter the Art Hauser Centre, they will be given a draw ticket to put in their pair of socks. During the second intermission, fans will try to throw their pairs of socks in a vehicle driving around the ice.
One pair from inside the vehicle will be picked, and the winning ticket number will be called. If no socks make it into the vehicle, a pair will be chosen at random from the ice.
Tickets for Saturday's Second Annual Sock Hop Presented By Parkland Ambulance are available at raiderhockey.com and the Raider Office. Puck drop is 7 p.m.
