
Preview: Bethlehem Steel FC to Face Charleston Battery Sunday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Bethlehem Steel FC will play their third home game of the season on Sunday, April 24 at 3 p.m. against Charleston Battery. The game will take place at Lehigh University's Goodman Stadium and will be televised on Service Electric's SE 50.
Sunday's match will be the first of two encounters between Bethlehem Steel FC and the Charleston Battery this season. The teams will meet again on Sept. 10 at Charleston. The Battery are currently tied for third in the Eastern Conference on points while Bethlehem Steel FC are tied for fourth on points.
Bethlehem Steel FC enter the match after earning their first ever home victory against Richmond Kickers on Sunday, April 17. Steel FC attained the 2-1 victory with goals from Eric Ayuk and Derrick Jones. Ayuk was named to the USL team of the week after scoring the first goal and assisting the second. James Chambers will be available for selection during Sunday's match after returning from suspension.
