SAN ANTONIO, TX - San Antonio FC (1-1-2) will play against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (2-0-1) for the first time in franchise history at Switchbacks Stadium on Saturday, April 23 at 2:30 p.m. The team will look to earn a positive result after recording their first loss against OC Blues FC last week.

San Antonio FC will head into the match hungry for a win after falling to OC Blues on Saturday, April 16 1-0. Despite creating quality chances throughout the match, SAFC was unable to find the back of the net after conceding a penalty kick goal late in the first half.
The Switchbacks will also look to recover their form after they suffered the first loss of their 2016 campaign to Seattle Sounders 2 away from home. The team has recorded two wins and one loss this season, and currently sits in sixth place in the league standings.
SAFC will look to earn three important points on the road against the Switchbacks in the final match of a three-part road trip that saw them earn a point against LA Galaxy II prior to the match against OC Blues. The club has netted five goals and conceded three this season, placing them in eighth place on the league table.
Following the game in Colorado, San Antonio FC will return to action at home as they take on Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Toyota Field. The match will mark San Antonio's second home match in club history after a successful inaugural home opener on April 9 that set a new attendance record at Toyota Field with 8,466 fans supporting the silver and black.
