
PrairieThunder Wins Third in a Row at Dayton on Tuesday Night

Brett Holmberg, Jason Deleurme, and Garrett Klotz scored the goals and goaltender Brad Phillips won his third in a row stopping 29 of 30 shots as the Bloomington PrairieThunder defeated the Dayton Gems 3-1 on Tuesday night in Ohio. Deleurme's goal at 13:14 of the second period, with assists from Jason Dale and John Snowden, was the game winner. Brett Holmberg had a two point night with his goal and an assist.
Bloomington improves to 29-16-4 for 62 points. The PrairieThunder closes to within three points of second place Colorado in the CHL's Turner (Northern) Conference and has three games in hand on the Eagles. The PThunder is just two victories away from matching last year's win total of 31. Dayton drops to 23-22-4 and remains in eighth place in the conference.
Bloomington next heads to Louisiana to face the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Thursday night. Game time is 6:35pm and the game can be heard on WJBC-FM (93.7), WJBC.com, or you can watch the game at BlueLine Nightclub, located at 602 N. Main Street in downtown Bloomington.
The PrairieThunder's next home game is Friday, March 4th @ 7:05pm vs. Fort Wayne at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
