Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release
Happy Thanksgiving Week from the PrairieThunder
Thanksgiving Day will be sandwiched around road games on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday as the Bloomington PrairieThunder head on the road starting on Wednesday night for games in Independence, Missouri; Moline, Illinois; and Dayton, Ohio. And the week wraps up with a Sunday afternoon home game (November 28th) at U.S. Cellular Coliseum as the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees make their lone regular season visit to Bloomington.
The PrairieThunder begin the holiday week with a record of 6-4-1 following a rough week at home where the team only earned one point in the standings. The PThunder lost in overtime last Wednesday to Arizona and then dropped games on Saturday and Sunday to Quad City and Arizona. In the three games at U.S. Cellular Coliseum, Bloomington managed to score only five goals. After the team's fast 4-0 start to the season, the PrairieThunder is 1-3-1 in their last five games. So Jason Christie's squad will be looking to turn things around on the road starting on Wednesday.
