The Bloomington PrairieThunder improved to a perfect 4-0 in the Central Hockey League following a 4-2 victory over the Evansville IceMen on Friday night at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. After Evansville took at early 1-0 lead at 5:04 of the first period on a powerplay goal from Brian Bicek, the PThunder would score four of the final five goals of the game to put the contest out of reach.
Matt McIlvane, Travis Granbois, Jason Dale, and Jason Deleurme were the Bloomington goal scorers. Dale's goal at 8:58 of the third period turned out to be the game winner. Dale & Deleurme each had as goal and two assists on the night. Bloomington out shot Evansville 41 to 23.
The PrairieThunder finish up their home stand against the Dayton Gems on Saturday night at 7:05pm at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
