ODESSA, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League take on the Odessa Jackalopes in the final game of a two game series Saturday night at the Ector County Coliseum. Game time is 7:05pm.

The Bucks look for their second straight win in Odessa after spoiling the Jackalopes home opener Thursday with a 6-1 win. Neil Trimm had four points (2-24) while Matt Robinson (1-12) and Serge Dube (0-22) picked up two points each to lead the Bucks.

With Thursday's 6-1 victory the Bucks picked up their first win at the Ector County Coliseum since game two of the 2009 Southern Conference semifinals (3/28/09). Prior to Thursday's win the Bucks had lost their last five games in Odessa (0-2-3).

Thursday's win tied the largest margin of victory ever by Laredo at the Ector County Coliseum. The Bucks only other five-goal victory in Odessa came in a 6-1 triumph on February 1, 2003, the Bucks first-ever win at the Ector County Coliseum.

With his four points on Thursday Trimm now leads the Bucks in scoring with nine points (2-79) while Serge Dube (1-67) and Jeff Bes (0-77) have seven points apiece. Trimm, Dube and Bes each have opened the season with a four-game point streak while Daniel Koger (6-06) has a three-game goal streak.

Bes is just three points away from 1,000 in his career.

With Thursday's win Terry Ruskowski passed Bill McDonald for fourth place All-time in CHL history with 321 wins.

The Jackalopes enter Saturday's game with a 1-4 record (two points) and have lost their last three contests.

Sebastien Thinel leads Odessa in scoring with seven points (4-37).

Laredo

starts a season-high five game home stand Tuesday (Nov. 2nd) against the Jackalopes.
