
PrairieThunder Defeats Odessa 5-4 on Friday Night

The Bloomington PrairieThunder improved to 2-0 on the 2010-2011 Central Hockey League season following their 5-4 win in regulation on Friday night. It was the home opener for the PThunder at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Five different PrairieThunder players lit the lamp on Friday night. Travis Granbois, John Snowden, Anthony Ciraulo, Bill Bagron, and Matt McIlvane scored for Bloomington. McIlvane's goal at 5:22 of the third period turned out to be the game winner and he was named the game's number one star.
The PrairieThunder home stand continues on Saturday night at 7:05pm at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum as the Tulsa Oilers come to town for the first time. It will be "Pink in the Rink Night" with the team wearing and auctioning off pink jerseys with the proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
