
Power Suspended in the Third

Charleston Dirty Birds News Release
(Charleston, WV)- Tuesday's game between the West Virginia Power and the Rome Braves at Appalachian Power Park was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the third inning. When play resumes, the Power will be batting down 3-0.
Rome scored two runs in the bottom of the second on a bases loaded walk and fielder's choice. Jonathan Morales doubled home an additional run in the third inning to make it 3-0 Braves.
The suspended game will resume Wednesday at 10:35 A.M. and be played to nine innings. The regularly scheduled game will be shortened to seven innings and will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.
