
Power Beat Down Postponed

Charleston Dirty Birds News Release
Charleston, WV (July 8, 2011) - Tonight's Power Beat Down has been postponed due to weather. The event has been moved to tomorrow night, Saturday, July 9th. All tickets previously purchased for the Beat Down will be honored tomorrow night, no exchange of tickets is necessary. Gates will open at 7:00 PM and fights will begin at 8:00 PM.
The Power Beat Down is put on by Simons Promotions and is presented by Suddenlink and 98.7 The Beat. The event will feature three-round amateur fights as well as a series of professional fights. The featured amateur fight will showcase Laura Byrnes, John Paul Morrison, Dustin Booth & David Griffith.
The professional fights of the night will feature six four round bouts and one six round bout. The six-round fight, a heavyweight bout, and main professional event will showcase Huntington, WV native Jason Pettaway and Cullen Rogers of Akron, OH. The six four-round bouts will feature Jason "The Mason" Pauley of Cabin Creek, WV versus Keith Barr of Glenville, WV, Mikel Bosse of Charleston, Joe Mullins of Charleston and more. Tickets are still on sale at the Power Box Office, over the phone at 304-344-BATS (2287), or online at wvpower.com. General Seating is $20 in advance, or $25 at the gate.
