CHARLESTON, WV (June 24, 2006) - The West Virginia Power, Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers have made another roster move.
Today, right handed pitcher Will Inman was activated from the disabled list, and right hander Ryan Marion has been placed on the disabled list to make room for Inman.
Inman, Milwaukee's third round pick from Dry Fork High School near Danville, Virginia had a great start to the season before going on the disabled list in the middle of May due to soreness in his right shoulder. Inman was 3-1 with a 1.80 ERA in nine games, including six starts.
Marion, an eighth rounder back in 2003 has been placed on the disabled list due to an unspecified injury. Marion was 0-0 with a save and a 7.48 ERA over 14 appearances, including two starts.
The Power will continue the four game series against the Kannapolis Intimidators at Appalachian Power Park on Saturday night. Kannapolis will start right hander Daniel Cortes (1-7, 4.86) and the Power will start right hander Will Inman (3-1, 1.80). The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
