Potomac Nationals Game Notes vs. Frederick Keys

Potomac Nationals News Release


Tonight, the Potomac Nationals (45-50 Overall, 25-24 Home, 12-13 Second Half) look to even up their three-game series with the Frederick Keys (46-51 Overall, 21-28 Road, 14-13 Second Half) at Pfitzner Stadium after falling in the opener by the final score of 5-1.

Potomac throws the number one overall prospect in baseball per MLBPipeline.com, RHP Lucas Giolito (3-5, 2.83) at the Keys.

Giolito leads The Red, White, and Blue pitching stable in strikeouts this season (80) and has yet to allow a home run.

Giolito will face off with Frederick RHP David Hess (5-4, 4.44) and looks to lead Potomac to their eighth win over the Keys in 2015 in their 18th clash against the club's "Battle of the Beltway" rival.

First pitch tonight at The Pfitz is slated for 7:05pm.
