Potomac Nationals 2016 Game Notes at Carolina Mudcats

After a walk-off loss (4-3, 10 inn) at the hands of the Carolina Mudcats (13-17) last night at Five County Stadium, the Potomac Nationals (16-13) look to even up the series with a Wednesday matinee at Five County Stadium.

Potomac will send RHP Boone Whiting (3-1, 4.03 to the mound, as he will face off with Mudcats' RHP Ryan Clark (0-3, 6.12). Whiting enters today's early matchup on a string of three straight quality starts. Clark has been hit very hard by left-handed hitters this season, as lefties have an OPS of 1.273 against him, while righties are at less than half (.542).

First pitch at Five County Stadium is set for 11:00am in Zebulon, NC.
