Tomorrow Pirates defenseman Aaron Rome will be at the Hannaford location in Portland at 296 Forest Avenue from 5-6 p.m. as part of the Shipyard Brewing Winter Getaway contest. Fans can enter to win a trip to the AHL 2007 All-Star Classic in Toronto, Pirates tickets and other great prizes!

On Wednesday, December 6th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Pirates players Trevor Gillies, Zenon Konopka, Kent Huskins, Pierre Parenteau, Colby Genoway and Aaron Rome will be at the Maine Diner to raise funds for Gary's House. During the entire day 100% of the proceeds from all meals served throughout the day will be donated to Gary's House. The Maine Diner is located on Route 1 in Wells, Maine will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To learn more about the Pirates relationship with Gary's House, click here!

Next home game: Saturday, December 15, 2006 - 7:05 PM vs. Albany River Rats Every Friday is Amato's Future Stars Friday! The Pirates are proud to offer the all MSHA, Middle School and High School hockey players who present your Amato's Future Stars ID card at the ticket window the day of the game or in advance will receive one (1) FREE reserved seat. In celebration of 30 Years of AHL Hockey in Portland, fans will receive a commemorative poster courtesy of Atlantic Sportswear. AAA Insurance will also be at the game taking pictures of fans with Crackers and Salty Pete.

The first 1,000 fans will receive a pocket road atlas courtesy of AAA Insurance. Also on this night, the Pirates will be supporting the WCSH 6 Coats for Kids campaign. Fans are encouraged to bring new or used coats, mittens, or hats to the game. Anyone who donates will get a free pair of Pirates tickets.
