
Porter to be Added to Astros Roster Friday

Metairie, LA â The New Orleans Zephyrs, the Class AAA Pacific Coast League Affiliate of the Houston Astros are pleased to announce that Zephyrs Outfielder Colin Porter will be added to the Houston Astros roster on Friday.
Porter, 27 from Tucson, AZ., batted .318 (48x151) with 21 RBI and a team leading 11 steals this season for the Zephyrs in 43 games. Astros and former Zephyr reliever Scott Linebrink who was designated for assignment on Saturday was claimed off waivers by the San Diego Padres.
The Zephyrs continue the four game series with the Edmonton Trappers on Thursday at 8:05 p.m. the Game can be heard on WTIX-AM 690 and at www.zephyrsbaseball.com with Tim Grubbs calling the action.
