
American Stroke Association Teams up with the Zephyrs

Metairie, LA âThe American Stroke Association, a division of the American Heart Association, will hold its first "Strike Out Stroke" event at Zephyr Field on May 31st. The Zephyrs play host to the Iowa Cubs in game 1 of a four game series at 7:05 p.m.
The American Stroke Association will provide free health screenings for fans in attendance. Ronnie Virgets, a local accomplished journalist, and Ellie Textor, both stroke survivors, will partake in a variety of stroke awareness events throughout the game.
The first 2,000 fans through the gate on Saturday receive a seat cushion courtesy of Tenet.
