
Port Huron Stifles Johnstown's Comeback, Gains 5-3

Port Huron Fighting Falcons News Release
The Johnstown Tomahawks almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the Port Huron Fighting Falcons managed to pull out a 5-3 win in the end.
Port Huron led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Fighting Falcons' Matt Seidel's scored at 1:37 in the third period to put Port Huron up 4-1.
The Fighting Falcons got the win with help from a great game by Seidel, who had one goal and three assists.
Port Huron also got points from Vito Aluia, who also registered one goal and one assist. Port Huron also got a goal from Mitch Maloney as well. In addition, Port Huron received assists from Taylor Fernandez, Bryan Yim, and Lucas Little, who each chipped in one.
Johnstown stifled Port Huron's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Tomahawks put 26 shots on net during the contest, more than the 21.7 they average per game.
Johnstown was helped by Forest Donovan, who finished with one goal. Donovan scored 8:32 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Trevor Recktenwald provided the assist. Johnstown additionally got points from Recktenwald, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Jordan Watt also scored for Johnstown. More assists for Johnstown came via Cody Bentzel, Mitch Hall, Omar Mullan, and Alex Jaeckle, who contributed one a piece.
Max Milosek made 23 saves for the Fighting Falcons on 26 shots. Port Huron incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Alex Okicki recorded 23 saves for the Tomahawks. Johnstown incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
