San Angelo Colts News Release

San Angelo, TX - With the ULB playoffs starting in two weeks on August 31, the San Angelo Colts have announced that playoff packages and single-game tickets are now on sale for the general public.

Playoff packages for all home playoff games are on sale for $45, while single-game tickets cost $9 for box seats and $6 for general admission.

If the Colts finish in either third or fourth place, they would open the playoffs with a best-of-three first round series with one game at home on Tuesday, August 31 against the #1 or #2 seed. If San Angelo should finish in the top two spots and garner home-field advantage, they would host game two and, if necessary, game three of the first round on Wednesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 2.

Should the Colts survive that round, they would play the winner of the other series in a best-of-five format for the ULB Championship. If San Angelo is the lower seed, they will open the championship round with games one and two at Foster Field on Friday. September 3 and Saturday, September 4. If the Colts are the higher seed, they would play game three and, if necessary, games four and five at home on Sunday, September 5, Monday, September 6, and Tuesday, September 7.

The top four teams in the ULB standings make the playoffs. Start times at Foster Field will be the same as the regular season; 7:05 Monday-Saturday and 6:05 on Sundays.

For more information, please contact the Colts' ticket office at (325) 942-6587 or reach the team on the web at sanangelocolts.com. Office hours are from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

The Colts take on the Edinburg Roadrunners in game two of their four-game series tonight with first-pitch set for 7:05. Brian Henschel (5-7, 6.11 ERA) will go for the Colts against Mark DiBernardo (6-5, 5.62 ERA) of the Roadrunners. Tonight is also Margarita Monday presented by MDX 106.1 FM as margaritas will be on sale for only $2 throughout the evening. The broadcast of the game can be heard on 1260 KKSA with the Kemps Pregame Show getting things underway at 6:50.
