Playoff Tickets Now On Sale For Jackalopes

(Odessa, TX) - Tickets for the Central Hockey League's Ray Miron President's Cup Playoffs are now on sale for the Odessa Jackalopes. The team will not raise the prices of tickets for this year's CHL postseason. Fans can purchase their tickets by calling 432-552-7825 or visiting the box office at the Ector County Coliseum.
The final day of the regular season will be on March 20th when Odessa hosts Rapid City. The CHL's President's Cup playoffs will begin the following week. Fans should log on to http://www.jackalopes.org for the most updated schedule of Odessa's postseason games, after they become available.
This is the ninth time in Odessa's 13-year history that the team has qualified for the postseason. The Jackalopes are pursuing their first President's Cup in team history.
The top five teams in each conference will qualify for the postseason. The fourth and fifth seed of each conference will play an opening round, three-game series. The winner of that series advances to meet the number one seed, while the second and third seeds face off.
After the opening round, three-game series all other rounds in the postseason will be a best-of-seven matchup with the higher seed having home-ice advantage. In the league finals the team with the better regular season record will hold home-ice advantage.
The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The team is in the middle of their 13th season in the Permian Basin. Season tickets, mini-plans, and single game tickets are available by calling (432) 552-PUCK or visiting jackalopes.org.
