Thanks to support from CN, the Prince George Cougars have already been able to distribute nearly 400 free tickets to deserving recipients in the 2008/2009 season. Eighteen local non-profit organizations and schools have benefited including the SPCA, Springwood Elementary, Carrier Sekani Family Services, the Elizabeth Fry Society, Canadian Blood Services and Positive Living North.
"The CN Community Ticket Program is now in its sixth season with us and since 2003, over 2500 people who work and volunteer for nearly 60 local non-profit organizations have attended a Cougars game courtesy of CN," said Cougars Vice President, Brandi Brodsky. "We want to recognize their on-going dedication in rewarding people who have a positive impact on Prince George."
