Danbury Trashers News Release

DANBURY, CT—With seven road games remaining, the Trashers are set to embark on the road as they look to improve their seeding in the first round of the Colonial Cup playoffs, scheduled to start league-wide on April 13th.

Currently the Trashers are the number six seed and would travel to Kalamazoo for the opening round if the season concluded today. In order to earn a home-ice advantage in the first round, Danbury would have to make up a six-point gap and overtake Fort Wayne for the fourth seed.

The Trashers will begin their trip in Glens Falls on Wednesday as they wrap-up their regular season series with the Adirondack Frostbite. Danbury then will finish the week with games in Richmond on Friday and Saturday.
