Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release
PITTSBURGH (March 12, 2015) - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are pleased to announce that Steel City native Nick Kolarac has agreed terms for the 2015 USL season.
Kolarac, 22, was part of the Michigan Bucks team that lifted last year's USL PDL title after a 1-0 win over Kitsap Pumas in the championship decider.
The versatile midfielder made 73 collegiate appearances for Saint Francis University during four years in Loretto. He previously attended West Allegheny High School and played his club soccer for Century United.
"Nick brings a relentless work rate to training and games," said Riverhounds head coach Mark Steffens. "He's a very consistent performer who can play any of the attacking positions as well as holding midfield or wingback."
Kolarac is the second hometown player on Pittsburgh's roster this season. Former Riverhounds Under-23 player Anthony Virgara agreed terms with the club last month.
