The Ogden Raptors allowed a season-low four hits in a 7-2 win over the Great Falls Voyagers Wednesday night at Centene Stadium.

Raptors starter John Richy, throwing with a limited pitch count, pitched three shutout innings, allowing just one hit and striking out four in his first professional start.

Richy was relieved by Pioneer League strikeout leader Jose De Leon. The right-hander extended his league lead by striking out seven in five innings of relief. He gave up two unearned runs on just three hits, retiring the last nine batters he faced.

Lenix Osuna pitched a hitless ninth inning to close out the win.

The Raptors got on the board in the first inning. Colin Hering singled to center with one out and moved to second on a misplay from Chevy Clarke. After a groundout and a walk to Justin Chigbogu, runners were on the corners. As Chigbogu stole second, Hering stole home to put the Raptors ahead 1-0.

Ogden scored three in the third inning. Devan Ahart started the inning with a triple into the right-field corner. Two batters later, Julian Leon drove him in with a single to right. After Chigbogu walked again, Ivan Vela hit a two-run double to put Ogden up 4-0.

In the fourth, the Raptors scored three again. Theo Alexander began the inning with a double into the right-field corner. Two batters later, Ahart hit another double into the corner to plate Alexander. Hering followed with a triple to center and came home on a wild pitch to put Ogden up 7-0.

De Leon's seven strikeouts were the most by a Raptors reliever this season.

The Raptors and Voyagers continue their four-game series Thursday. Jeff Brigham will make his first professional start for the Raptors against Voyagers right-hander Dane Stone. Game starts at 7:00 and can be heard on 97.5 The Zone.
