
Pitcher Arismendy Castillo Joins Loons

The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced that right-hander Arismendy Castillo has been added to the Loons' roster from extended Spring Training in Vero Beach, FL. To make room for Castillo on the roster, right-hander Steven Johnson has been placed on the Ogden roster.
Castillo - a native of the Dominican Republic - is 22 years old and begins his fourth professional season. In his career, Castillo is 12-12 with a 4.69 ERA. He spent all of last year with the Columbus (GA) Catfish, compiling an 8-5 record with a 4.59 ERA. He will wear No. 29 and will be active for tonight's game against the Beloit Snappers.
In four starts this season, Johnson was 1-2 with a 5.74 ERA. He started the first game in Dow Diamond history and recorded the ballpark's first strikeout.
The Loons continue their series tonight with the Beloit Snappers.
