
Pirates Sign OL Nick Ford

LOWELL, MA - The Massachusetts Pirates have signed offensive lineman Nick Ford for the 2025 season. Ford most recently was on the practice squad with the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League.
Ford, who checks in at 6'5", 317 lbs. was a three-time All-Pac-12 performer at the University of Utah. In April of 2022 he signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent. After being waived on August 30, he was signed 24 hours later to the practice squad through September 12.
A native of San Pedro, CA, Ford played every position on the offensive line for the Utes during his collegiate career. He played in 44 games making 40 starts with 30 at center.
After redshirting in 2017, Ford made seven starts the next season and was an Honorable Mention Pac-12 All-Academic selection. The next three seasons he started every game. In 2019 Ford received Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. In 2020 and 2021 he was a First-Team selection.
