LAKEWOOD, NJ - Phillies pitcher Brad Lidge will rehab with the BlueClaws tonight, his first appearance at any level this season.

Lidge has missed the year with a strained right rotator cuff.

Acquired in a trade with the Astros in November of 2007, Lidge has 99 saves with the Phillies over his three years with the team and 222 over his nine year major league career.

He is the third Phillies player to rehab with the BlueClaws this year, following JC Romero (May 3rd) and Shane Victorino (May 28th and 29th).

The BlueClaws are 18-10 all-time when a Phillies player rehabs at FirstEnergy Park.

Lidge is scheduled to start tonight's game, and Phillies 2010 first round pick Jesse Biddle will enter the game after Lidge's appearance.
