Philadelphia Union News Release
CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union unveiled their new 2020 primary kit at MLS's #Forward25 kit unveiling fashion show in New York City last night, with Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott modeling the "Forever Faithful" jersey for the first time publicly. The "Forever Faithful" theme highlights the club's roots and honors fans with blue and gold design elements throughout.

Blue and gold are at the heart of the club, and the 2020 "Forever Faithful" kit keeps the focus on the club's iconic colors. A large navy embossed snake from the Union's crest covers the front of the jersey and gold is featured in the adidas shoulder stripes, logo, club crest and the infinity snake at the back neck, which signifies the never-ending passion of our supporters. 'Ad finem fidelis,' which means 'faithful to the end,' adorns the lower hem in a direct reference to the continued loyalty and support from Union fans.
"Each year's kit gives us an opportunity to honor our history and pay homage to the unwavering support of our fans, the heartbeat of our club," said Doug Vosik, Philadelphia Union Chief Marketing Officer. "It is only natural that our design would draw inspiration from our faithful supporters, who wear the blue, the gold and the snake with pride. As an additional tribute to our fans, we also collaborated with the Sons of Ben to use their 'ad finem fidelis' motto to honor their legacy and never-ending support of this club."
As previously announced, Bimbo Bakeries USA returns as the official kit sponsor. The primary jersey will feature the Bimbo logo while the secondary jersey will feature the Bimbo brand Artesano Bakery Breads logo. This will mark the first time across the league that a sponsor and club will feature different brands on the primary and secondary kits.
The Union will be holding its official Kit Launch Party on Friday, February 7 starting at 7 p.m. at The Wharf Building. Fans will be able to purchase and customize the 2020 jerseys, meet new and returning players, and enjoy the Fearless Fan Contest, in which select Union fans will compete to win 2020 season tickets, jerseys and a Union swag bag. The event is free but fans must RSVP .
