
Philadelphia Union Loan Forward Cory Burke to Austrian Club SKN St. Poelten

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has loaned forward Cory Burke to Austrian Bundesliga club SKN St. Poelten pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate in Austria. The loan is through June 2020. Following the end of the loan period, Burke is expected to rejoin the Union.
In 2019, Burke made seven appearances for the Union, scoring two goals in that time. In September, he was loaned to Jamaican side Portmore United FC for the remainder of the 2019 season where he scored 11 goals in 20 appearances. He also joined the Jamaican national team ahead of two Concacaf Nations League contests in September, where he was on the squad in a 6-0 victory vs. Antigua and Barbuda (September 6). In his debut season for the Union, Burke netted 10 goals in 29 appearances, for a team-tying high.
