Philadelphia Union News Release
CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union today announced a new partnership with organic green tea and all natural energy drink retailer Steaz that sees the brand become an official presenting partner of Steaz Stoppage Time during all games, as well as a supporting partner of U on Tour.
Under the partnership, Steaz will be making their beverages available for purchase throughout Talen Energy Stadium in three flavors: Berry, Blood Orange Clementine and zero calorie Pear Pomegranate. They will also be on-site at Toyota Plaza every home game sampling their products and giving away prizes.
"From our first meeting, we could see the passion Steaz had about their product," said Jean-Paul Dardenne, Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships for Philadelphia Union. "We knew that we would be great partners that will elevate each other's brands."
"Steaz is so excited to be the official energy drink of the Philadelphia Union and Talen Energy Stadium for 2019," said Ashley Martino, Marketing Manager for Steaz. "Being based outside Philly and fans of the team ourselves, we have the unique opportunity to bring Union fans a clean and organic energy drink option not only on game day, but through community events and partnerships with local retailers. We can't wait to welcome fans out on the plaza before games with samples and fun prizes, then join you inside the stadium where you can purchase a can that will keep you fueled all the way through Steaz Stoppage Time!"
Additionally, Steaz will be offering social media giveaways throughout the season including prizes such as tickets, autographed merchandise and special Union experiences.
Founded in 2002, Steaz is based in Doylestown and is sold nationwide in most major retailers.
