Phil Fox Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas (November 19) - The Central Hockey League announced Monday that Fort Worth Brahmas forward Phil Fox was named Oakley CHL Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, November 18.
Fox recorded four points (three goals, one assist), including the game-winner in each of the Brahmas' two games this past week (2-0-0). The Stillwater, Minnesota native leads the team with 11 points, 6 goals, two game-winning goals and a +4 plus-minus this season. Fox has also assisted on four of the five powerplay goals the Brahmas have scored in 2012-2013.
When Fox produces, the Brahmas see results. Fort Worth is 3-1-1 this season in games when Fox scores a goal. Also, the Brahmas are 2-0-0 when Fox nets multiple points in a game.
This is the second CHL award given to Phil Fox thus far in his young career and the first this season. The second-year forward also won Rookie of the Month for December 2011.

The Brahmas also announced Monday the official dates for their games hosted at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The dates included are:

Saturday, December 22, 7:30pm vs. Missouri Mavericks
Friday, January 4, 7:30pm vs. Rapid City Rush
Saturday, January 5, 7:30pm vs. Tulsa Oilers
Friday, March 15, 7:30pm vs. Allen Americans
Saturday, March 16, 7:30pm vs. Allen Americans
"I see our games at the Fort Worth Convention Center as a great opportunity to reintroduce the Fort Worth Brahmas to the downtown community, as well as to broaden our exposure within the Fort Worth-Tarrant County area," said Brahmas managing director Clyde Tuyl.
The Brahmas are offering seven-game packages for the games at the Fort Worth Convention Center, offering fans a reduced price-point as low as 20% off the regular price. The different options are as follows:
Glass: $185 - 20% discount off regular price
Floor: $130 - 15% off regular price
Club: $115 - 10% off regular price
Mezzanine: $65 - 5% off regular price
For those who have purchased season tickets, corresponding seats at the Fort Worth Convention Center will be chosen by the Brahmas staff, but changes may be made based on availability. Tickets for the games Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1 will be available for pick-up at the Brahmas box office Wednesday, November 21 when the team faces off against the Quad City Mallards at the NYTEX Sports Centre. All other games at the Convention Center are already included in season ticket packages.
