Fort Worth's Phil Fox Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (November 19, 2012) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Fort Worth Brahmas forward Phil Fox has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending November 18, 2012.

The Stillwater, Minnesota native scored the game winning goal in each of the Brahmas two games last week, helping his team win on the road for the first time this season. Fox leads the Brahmas in points (11) and goals (6) and finished last week with a total of three goals and one assist.
In Friday's win at Rapid City, Fox scored the game deciding goal in the third period helping his team to a 2-1 victory over the Rush. Then on Saturday, the 5-11, 205-pound forward scored two first period goals and assisted on a strike in the third period pushing Fort Worth to a 4-1 win in Denver.
This is the 28-year-old's second season with the Brahmas, as well as second in the CHL and last year he put together a solid season with 19 goals and 24 assists in 59 games played.
